August 15th through the 19th, work shifts are usually 1-9 or 8-4. Pics are views on the way to work. The gift shop I work in is the largest gift shop in the Teton National Park and we do have just about everything. Camping items, backpacks,
Learned how to run the cash register, where everything is downstairs for restocking, learned SOME of the answers to the many questions visitors have and that working in retail is fun. Of course it has only been five days and I am working in the Tetons, now working at JC Penneys in La Crosse, probably not so fun.
Changing the subject a bit, this is in the women's bathroom-WTH?!
I found out that the South Hall I am in is called Geritol Hall, haha, very funny. I don't care it is quiet and no drama. But what the heck do we need all them condoms for 😳
I have heard that there has been a black bear sighted in the employee RV campground and at the building I work in, have not seen it yet. But I did see a fox yesterday roaming around the parking lot in front of the gift shop. I was close enough to see he had a collar and he was not really scared of people, just looking for some scraps. Then I thought what if that is someones pet (hence the collar, I know it is highly likely that it is a tracking collar BUT) and they let it out every other day or 3 or 4 for the vacationers. Just saying.
I use the other bed for a desk :0)

🤩 Wow, Julie, this is so cool. Great pictures of a beautiful place. How long will you be there? What exactly is it that you are doing out there and how did you find out about this gig? Thanks for sharing your experience and adventure!
